The Vail Interfaith Chapel welcomes you to two presentations on Countering Active Threat Training (CATT) on Wednesday, June 29th ~ from 10am-Noon with the same presentation again from 2-4pm. This program which is brought to you by Jewish Colorado and B’Nai Vail and has the endorsement of the Vail Police Department. The program is facilitated by a former FBI Agent and Regional Security Advisor who works closely with many Jewish congregations evaluating security in public places. This caring and compassionate training provides tools to facilitate difficult situations with caring ways to execute reaction to critical situations such as mentally ill individuals or cardiac arrest instances. Also identifying and explaining steps to Survive an active threat incident using: Run, Hide and Fight survival. Understand how to prepare for an active threat event Learn how to respond to law enforcement arrival This training is for any active threat event throughout your community.
