Director of Children’s Ministries
I look forward to embracing our church’s mission and learning to know Jesus Christ in a deeper way through my ministry with our church’s youngest members.
Children have an innate response of abiding joy to God. Through our Sunday school, children learn to name their connection to God and become active members of our church family through personal prayer, liturgical celebrations, and persons of faith in our community.
Thank you for making Sunday morning an important part of your family’s life.
Rebecca grew up all over the U.S. due to her father being in the Navy, but considers her hometown Dayton, OH. She attended Northeastern University and received both a Bachelors and Masters in Architecture with a Minor in Art History. She moved to the Vail Valley from Newport, RI two and a half years ago and works as a full time architect at Zehren and Associates in Avon.
She happily joined ECOT a year and a half ago after meeting Father Brooks through the Vail Valley Partnership NEXT Program. Rebecca grew up in the Lutheran Church and was very active in her church’s youth group. She was lucky enough to have wonderful church leaders who created a strong program and is hoping to pass on her great experiences in youth ministry to the middle schoolers and high schoolers at ECOT.
Rebecca enjoys hiking, swimming, running, biking, traveling, sketching, and reading in her spare time.
