On December 2, 2018, the First Sunday of Advent, Transfiguration had the honor of gathering candidates from across the Western Slope of Colorado for Confirmation.
With Bishop Robert J. ONeill presiding, 27 members of our parish experienced Confirmation, Reaffirmation or Reception. This beautiful ceremony was the Bishop’s last public appearance on the Western Slope before he retires in March, 2019. Â Listen to his sermon below.
The two hour ceremony was followed by a lovely luncheon for all candidates and their family and friends. We thank the many hands that went into the coordination and execution of this amazing with too many to list, but especially Youth Minister Rebecca Cotton and Parish Life committee member Carolyn Moorman.
