MISSIONARY WORK

To Know Jesus Christ, The Son of God, and to Make Him Known

Our History

The beginnings of the Church of England, from which The Episcopal Church derives, date to at least the second century, when merchants and other travelers first brought Christianity to England. →

It is customary to regard St. Augustine of Canterbury’s mission to England in 597 as marking the formal beginning of the church under papal authority, as it was to be throughout the Middle Ages…

Our Beliefs

However you got here, wherever you are in your faith journey, we hope to connect you with information and inspiration in the Holy Spirit. We take our call to God through Jesus Christ seriously, with joy and curiosity. What does that mean to us?

It means that we are followers of Jesus in a complex world where we explore the truth of our faith in community:

  • We are as followers of Jesus in our lives, every day…
  • We are here to bring the Kingdom of God to the complex, ambiguous, volatile, uncertain world of the 21st century…

Our Church Family

Our extended church family currently includes hundreds of souls ranging from 6 months to 94 years of age, located primarily in the Vail valley but we also have members located anywhere from New York to California as well as internationally. →

We partner with and pastor our entire local community regardless of their church membership or faith perspective. Please take some time to meet our wonderful clergy, staff and Vestry, as well as our members, many of whom come from many different religious backgrounds…
