David Cole was the longest tenured member of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration at the time of his death, a faithful lay leader having served as a Vestry (board) member and Lay Reader at the Vail and Beaver Creek Chapel altars. David represented the Episcopal Church on the board of the Vail Religious Foundation for many years, guiding the interfaith chapels through key evolutionary moments with his keen business insight and passionate faith. David’s intellect informed his wry sense of humor, often producing a deep laugh infectious to all around him. David loved his Lord, his family, his church and community and Elvis exactly in that order!
