Habitat For Humanity Volunteer Opportunity

Help Sarah McCracken Build Her Forever Home Sarah McCracken is a single Mom of 2 manages the gardens and greenhouses at the Salvation Army, while completing a degree in botanical studies. After years of applying for a Habitat home, she was finally accepted and she (and her friends and family), have to put in 250 hours on any Habitat construction project, in order to qualify for her new home. She could really use your help! If you volunteer to work on one of the construction sites any Tuesday through Saturday and use the code listed in red below, the hours you work, will be counted towards her hours. You can meet Sarah on any of the following days : 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/25, 8/3, 8/16 if you volunteer on these days. She does not have to be present, however, for you to volunteer and for your hours to count towards her application. If you can volunteer, you are required to sign up using the Habitat for Humanity volunteer form. You do NOT have to have any experience to help out and they will not ask you to do any work that you are uncomfortable doing. There is a job for everyone. You must be at least 18 years old to work construction, but 14-17 can volunteer to help out in other ways.
