JOIN US FOR SUNDAY WORSHIP & KIRKIN O THE TARTAN
at the Edwards Interfaith Chapel
The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration warmly welcomes you to join us for worship each Sunday at either of our two services: 8:00 AM in Vail or 10:00 AM in Edwards and to also celebrate an ancient family tradition called “Kirkin O’ the Tartan,” one of many celebrations marking the love of family. Yes, it certainly looks and sounds quite Scottish, but honestly this Sunday is about each and every one of our families and those we love! So please come and bring some symbol, sign or beloved family item to place upon the altar for blessing. Scarves, plaids, Scandinavian sweaters, pictures of parents…just about anything small enough to sit or hang is welcome! We will have a bagpiper, shortbread and hot tea to celebrate the day, but feel free to bring some famous family nosh to share at coffee hour! Shall we gather this weekend as a wonderful church family to remember our own families and those we love?
