ECOT is partnering with First Lutheran Church, Gypsum in a nonperishable food drive to benefit the indigenous Native Americans on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. The Tipi Raisers is a registered nonprofit in Colorado and South Dakota and recognized by the IRS as a 501 (C)(3).
The Pine Ridge Reservation has been designated as one of the poorest areas in the United States. There is plenty of information on both The Tipi Raisers and The Pine Ridge Reservation on the Internet.
Donations will be accepted at the Vail Interfaith Chapel and the Edwards Interfaith Chapel each Sunday throughout Lent.
