Please consider Helping our Community
Our local community food banks need your help today!! Without SNAP benefits, our neighbors in need have had to rely more on donations from the Salvation Army, and the Community Market. Please consider donating food directly to or volunteering at any one of their locations (see maps and hours below), or providing a monetary donation on their website. Every little bit helps!
They are currently very much in need of the following items:
Apples
Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits
Flour
Rice or quinoa
Veggie or chicken stock
Coffee
Sugar
Cooking oil
Potatoes
Onions
Dry black beans (in a bag)
Lentils (in a bag)
Adult diapers
Diapers (size 1-7)
Baby wipes
Pasta
Granola or cereal
They currently are NOT in need of the following items:
Mac and Cheese
Canned food (we still have some from last year’s holiday donations)
Over-the-counter medications
Community Market – Gypsum
